Alice's awakening
‘Wake up, dear Alice!’ said her sister. ‘What a long nap you've had!’
‘Oh! I had such a strange dream,’ said Alice; and she told her sister, as far as she could remember, all the strange adventures you have just seen: the tall grass, the footsteps of the white rabbit, the frightened mouse, the sound of cups as the hare had an endless tea party, the queen's cries; and when she had finished her story, her sister said, kissing her, ‘It was certainly a very funny dream, but now run home and have your tea, for it is getting late.’ So Alice got up and ran away.
Her sister remained sitting quietly, watching the sunset and thinking about Alice and her wonderful adventures.
Finally, she imagined her sister in the future, also grown up, telling her grandchildren about Alice's dream in Wonderland.
THE END... BUT IS IT REALLY THE END?
