The Royal City of Loches is working hard to improve access and the visitor experience to make the landmark more inclusive.

• Hearing loop (position T) at the ticket reception

• Disabled-friendly HistoPad© in the keep in 7 languages
• Large font tour brochure (royal lodge and keep)/tactile 3DOnly in French
• Tours for people with reduced mobility available on request
• Lots of steps: 500 steps throughout the fortress, almost 50 in the royal lodge
• Wrap up: it’s around 13° in the cellars at Martelet Tower
• Walking sticks/seats available to hire for the tour
